Good Morning all. Classes last evening were very good. We had a VERY intense Sparring Class from 4:30 to 6:00pm. We had TWO classes really in that time block. Those Children that did not want to Spar, practiced their techniques with Mr. Woolard and Mr. Herberger. Mostly Kicks. Then we finished the brutality off with a heavy game of Dodgeball. I am telling you, many atheletes and tough kids are developing here! In the evening's Elite Physical Class, I attempted to exersize Mr. Herberger to oblivion, but to no avail. He is in better shape than any two Olympians! We ended the evening witha small Adult Sparring Class, where Mr. Dobbs worked his White Belt Form enough to get signed off on it. He is now on to the Defense Techniques. Congratulations to Mr. Dobbs. And now I will finish this Blog with a Quote for Ed Parker:
"Elvis was greatly instrumental in bolstering the Martial Arts in th U.S. and other Foreign Countries in the early years of its (Kenpo's) inception. His interest in, and enthusiasm for the Martial Arts was constant." Edmund Parker. Infinite Insights Into Kenpo, Volume 1; Mental Stimulation. Page 30, Paragraph 3. |
